A Special Thank You to Scott, Diane, and Reagin

I want to take a moment to recognize three very special people who have truly made a difference in my life and at the YMCA.

First, Scott and Diane Martin, my incredible lifeguards and friends. On occasional mornings, I look forward to seeing them because I know the pool will be ready for my laps and workouts. Without them showing up and doing what they do, I wouldn’t be able to start my day the way I do.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Scott and Diane, for everything. You’re more than just lifeguards, you’re encouragers, protectors, and friends. Your consistency and kindness don’t just impact me, they impact everyone who walks through those YMCA doors.

I also want to give a huge shout-out to Reagin Duesing. Reagin has been such a big help with the Swim-A-Thon and swimming lesson classes. She jumps in wherever she’s needed and always makes sure things run smoothly. Reagin, I can’t thank you enough for your dedication and support, you’ve made these programs successful, and I couldn’t have done it without you.

It’s people like Scott, Diane, and Reagin who make the YMCA such a special place. You all make it feel like more than just a gym, you make it a true community.
