A Swim-A-Thon has finally came to fruition. Long time no time everyone. Work, swimming and life had took me away from posting updates. I would like to present to everyone an event to showcase swimming. Our local YMCA has allowed me to hold a Swim-A-Thon. A Swim-A-Thon!

A Swim-A-Thon has been on my mind for a long time. I have always wondered how far I could push my body and encourage others in a long distance swim challenge. We get to wrap up two things in one. Swimming and giving back to the community.
Swimming for a cause emphasize the importance of that organization. If we truly believe in the organizations that gives to the community, what an awesome way to promote them. We have so many organizations and charities to choose from and they all give in their own special way.
I have chosen four area of interests that I will swim for.
The American Red Cross, my longest volunteer organization I have been involved with. Blood donation, lifeguard training and swim instruction had given me many opportunities.
YMCA, the organization has been apart of my life for many years as well. Volunteering or having my family membership has given us many memories in Dodge City and Wichita, KS.
The American Heart Association, the tools and training the organization has provided lifesaving skills and encourages healthy heart. My family genetics has heart disease that runs in our family. A healthy Heart is a high priority for myself and others.
The final charity involves a small personal fund for some great niece's and a great nephew. A famliy tragedy has called on me and close family members to raise and guide some children who lost their Father at a young age.
Please join us in a chance to pay it forward, one lap at a time. Thank you for your time and consideration. Be well and Good Luck in the adventures that awaits you.
